ComedyACT (Brand)

COMEDYACT BRANDING & WEBSITE

Description:

ComedyACT is “the home of Canberra’s comedy community”. Established in 2009, ComedyACT is widely regarded as the original and best source for stand-up comedy gigs, events and comedians in the Canberra and surrounding region. ComedyACT coordinate comedy events in the Canberra and surrounding regions on a regular basis, and provide agent-style services for Canberra comedians at all stages of their professional comedy career.

In 2015, I was tasked with creating a new logo, visual brand and website for ComedyACT. The client requested a basic website with presentable front page, functional event calendar, and very simple internal pages that they could easily update themselves in WordPress without any ongoing costs incurred from plugins, page builders etc. In 2021, I re-built the website with the same branding and client specifications, in order to equip it with modern WordPress website functions (e.g. mobile design).

It meets the clients design specifications exactly, and their satisfaction is evidenced by the fact that they have kept the same branding for over 10 years.
